Supports planning, coordination, and monitoring of Compact-funded projects, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and reporting in line with MCC requirements.
Job Description
The Project Management Specialist will support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of Compact-funded projects implemented by MCA-Belize. The role contributes to effective project delivery by ensuring activities are implemented in accordance with approved work plans, budgets, and timelines, while maintaining compliance with Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) policies and reporting requirements. The Specialist will work closely with internal teams, government counterparts, consultants, and contractors to track progress, identify risks, and support timely decision-making.
Key responsibilities include supporting project scheduling, monitoring performance indicators, preparing progress reports, coordinating meetings and documentation, and assisting with compliance, procurement, and stakeholder engagement activities as required.
Required Profile and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Public Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in project management, development programs, or donor-funded projects
- Demonstrated experience supporting project planning, monitoring, and reporting processes
- Familiarity with MCC, USAID, or other international donor procedures is an asset
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail
