Paulette Wade

Paulette Darlene Wade currently serves as the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Millennium Challenge Account–Belize (MCA-Belize), where she leads the design and implementation of robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems to strengthen programme accountability, evidence-based decision-making, and adaptive management across Compact-funded activities.

A seasoned Monitoring and Evaluation professional, Ms. Wade brings over 22 years of experience in education, programme administration, and results-based management. For 15 years, she served as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at UNICEF Belize, where she led national and regional initiatives, including three rounds of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS). Her work encompassed institutional capacity building, the development of monitoring frameworks, and substantive contributions to United Nations multi-country sustainable development frameworks, sectoral strategies, and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) reporting.

Ms. Wade’s professional background also includes experience as a mathematics lecturer and department head, providing her with a strong foundation in education reform, curriculum development, and stakeholder engagement. Throughout her career, she has consistently strengthened the use of data and evidence to inform policy, improve programme performance, and support sustainable development across multiple sectors. Recognized for her collaborative leadership style and high emotional intelligence, Ms. Wade excels at working across institutions and disciplines to translate complex data into actionable insights. She remains deeply committed to advancing learning-driven evaluation systems that generate meaningful, measurable, and lasting impact.
