Leidi Urbina
Leidi Urbina serves as the Finance and Administration Director at the Millennium Challenge Account–Belize (MCA-Belize). She is an international development professional with over 12 years of experience supporting the implementation and management of high-impact development programs in Belize, with a strong focus on effective financial stewardship and institutional strengthening.
In her role, Leidi oversees financial management, administration, and compliance functions, ensuring sound financial controls, accountability, and transparency across multi-year and multi-fund portfolios. She is known for her results-driven approach and her ability to align financial and administrative operations with strategic program objectives. Her professional experience includes the implementation and management of programs funded by foreign governments, international non-profit organizations, and international financial institutions, particularly in the areas of local economic development, education, and social protection.
Leidi holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and a Master of Science in Economics from Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan.
