Alberto J. Matus
He later joined Galen University as IT Director and System Administrator, while also serving as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Computer Science Department. He led the development and maintenance of ICT infrastructure aligned with academic and operational goals and successfully designed and guided the approval of Galen University’s Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity program. He has taught a range of computer science, networking, and cybersecurity courses.
Mr. Matus has also lectured in Cybersecurity at St. John’s College University. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Phi Kappa Phi, and One Young World, and a Fellow of the Fred J. Hansen Foundation. Recognized for his ability to manage complex initiatives, he specializes in cybersecurity risk mitigation, asset protection, preventative threat analysis, and strategic technology planning across institutional environments.
